The final fight at WCG Denmark consisted of the main favorites from mTw and the challengers and newcomers from XLBet.ATS.Everything looked a bit dark for mTw when the team lost to the Danish mix-team player$ in the SLAP LIVE tournament. Ahead of them was a final against XLBet.ATS, to determine who would be going to Cologne and representing Denmark in Counter-Strike at the World Cyber Games 2008. The first map should turn out to be train, the map that mTw had been struggling on lately. This could however not be seen. The mTw that we saw losing to player$, was not the same mTw playing XLBet.ATS. Winning an important knife-round secured mTw the CT side on train and from this point on, the entire match had mTw written all over it. Especially ave and whiMp gave XLBet.ATS a hard time in between the train-wagons, but the mTw team really played as a team all of the players should be noted for an amazing effort on train. XLBet.ATS only got one round, when mTw secured the second round in the second half, making it a 16:1 victory for mTw on train.
Moving on to nuke, XLBet.ATS spend quite some time going through what to put up against mTw. The story was however the same on nuke, a very dominant mTw started out as terrorists, pulling the XLBet.ATS defenses from each other. Changing side, mTw could easily take the last needed rounds to secure the overall win on nuke with a 16:8 score.
